This pivotal role is dedicated to identifying, nurturing, and expanding our network of high-value sellers within the US marketplace. You will be instrumental in enhancing our product selection, optimizing pricing strategies, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. As a Strategic Marketplace Growth Architect, you will be responsible for uncovering product gaps and implementing targeted growth strategies to attract key players to our platform, ultimately enriching our product offerings and expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Mastery & Competitive Intelligence: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the US marketplace landscape, including seasonal trends, global dynamics, and competitor activities. Proactively monitor industry developments to identify emerging opportunities and potential challenges.
- Strategic Seller Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and onboard high-caliber sellers to our platform through a combination of direct outreach, industry events, and compelling presentations.
- Seller Enablement & Best Practice Sharing: Empower our sellers with actionable insights and best practices in online selling, leveraging data-driven analysis to optimize their product listings, enhance customer satisfaction, and achieve their business goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Problem Solving: Act as a bridge between internal and external stakeholders, proactively addressing seller concerns and collaborating to resolve issues that impact marketplace growth.
- Growth Strategy Development & Execution: Contribute to the development and execution of strategic growth initiatives aimed at expanding our product selection, optimizing pricing, and enhancing the overall marketplace experience.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify areas for improvement, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
Primary Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of proven success in a sales-oriented role, preferably within the e-commerce, retail, or FMCG industries.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed sales targets through a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
- Passion for identifying and promoting new products and offerings to expanding markets.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in Excel and MS Office Suite.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with a comfortable understanding of economic data.
- Ability to think strategically and lead in a high-pressure environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in the e-commerce sector.
- 3+ years of experience in consumer electronics purchasing or sales.
- 3+ years of direct sales experience.
