Remote Veterinary Support Opportunities - Non-Credentialed Veterinary Technicians

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Non-Credentialed Veterinary Technicians to join our team at SafetyCall International, PLLC/Pet Poison Helpline. As a remote employee, you will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, providing critical support to pet owners and veterinary professionals in need. Our company offers a range of positions, including Overnight Veterinary Information Specialist I, Veterinary Information Specialist I, and Veterinary Industry Representative I, each with its own unique schedule and responsibilities.

Job Overview:

  • Respond to incoming cases via telephone or chat, providing accurate medical, health, and safety information to pet owners and veterinary professionals
  • Triage cases, take full histories and details of events, and document each case in an electronic record
  • Provide empathetic and compassionate support to pet owners in distress
  • Work varying shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Positions and Schedules:

  • Overnight Veterinary Information Specialist I: Full-time, overnight shift (10pm-8am CST), 7 days on, 7 days off rotation, with a $5/hour shift differential
  • Veterinary Information Specialist I: Full-time, 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between 2pm-2:30am CST, and a $2/hour shift differential for evening shifts
  • Veterinary Industry Representative I: Full-time, 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between 10am-10:30pm CST, and a $2/hour shift differential for evening shifts

Training Requirements:

  • 4-week (6-week for Overnight Veterinary Information Specialist I) full-time, paid, remote training process
  • Training schedules are determined in advance and may include daytime/evening hours and weekends

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience performing veterinary technician duties in a veterinary facility
  • Above average proficiency with keyboarding, PCs, Microsoft Office, and common computer software and hardware
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
