Associate Director, Finance Business Processes (Hybrid 2 Days Remote) 150 East 42nd Street - Mount Sinai Medical Center - USA - work from home job Company: Mount Sinai Medical Center Job description: Job Description: Description Associate Director, Finance Business Processes (Hybrid 2 Days Remote/3 Days Office Weekly) 150 East 42nd Street The Associate Director, Finance Business Processes of the Health Systems is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and processes of all departments throughout Finance. This individual's primary responsibility will be working with Finance department heads, DTP and Cloud consultants to ensure that all processes and reporting that are needed to support Finance will be made available in Oracle Cloud ERP. This individual will be expected to become familiarized with aspects of Finance (Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, iProcurement, General Ledger, Grants, Fixed Assets, Budgeting) Responsibilities • This position will be responsible for working with all Finance departments throughout the Health System to become familiar with all existing processes, requirements and reporting that will be moving to OracleCloud. • Working with Finance department heads and staff to confirm scope, goals, and objectives. • Participate in reviewing of all activities that will be transitioning to Cloud and ensure that they are working as expected and meeting Department head requirements. • Monitoring and maintaining progress of all commitments to ensure delivery of the key stages and goals within the agreed time constraints. • Managing the agreed scope of the project to ensure that Change Requests are clearly called out, agreed and impacted against timeline • Work closely with all Oracle Cloud ERP Consultants to monitor tasks and progress of specific activities. • Controlling and reporting progress to Finance department leads and escalate any issues, as appropriate, in a timely manner. Initiating corrective action where necessary in order to keep projects on track. • Excellent organization, documentation and communication skill. • Playing a lead role in defining an effective communication strategy for the project, including communicating and consulting with all Finance business stakeholders. • Identify inter-dependencies between the various stakeholder groups to ensure all are aligned and risks are identified, mitigated and communicated. • Review and manage business requirements • Work with all areas within Finance to identify reporting requirements, interfaces, testing and user training. • Work with Finance department and DTP heads to reconcile data migrating to Cloud. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, public health/administration or business or a related field or equivalent education and experience; Masters (MPA, MPH, MBA or related) is preferred • 5-7 plus years of experience working Finance applications such as: Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, iProcurement, General Ledger, Grants, Fixed Assets, Budgeting in a professional business environment, with health related, project management and supervisory experience preferred; • Proven record of working with Senior Business Leaders to ensure business requirements and perform system testing. • Successful track record in developing process improvements solution while working with IT • Good working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle Cloud preferred). • Demonstrated successful working relationships with Business Partners and DTP. • Exceptional customer service orientation and collaboration skills. • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Compensation Statement The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $99,999.98 - $185,399.80 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need.
