Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Remote Urgent Care Call Center
                                About the position
Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care as directed by the provider.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist during treatments.
• Coordinate tests and follow-up care for patients.
• Record treatment details in the medical record.
• Assist with patient and family education.
• Promote health through evidence-based clinical care.
• Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care.
• Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration within the healthcare team.
• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor for other practical nurses and unlicensed staff.
• Participate in evidence-based practice and nursing research.
• Plan for the care of patients across the care continuum.
• Act as a patient liaison and advocate, ensuring culturally sensitive care.
Requirements
• Graduate from a practical or vocational nursing program.
• Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association prior to hire date.
• Previous healthcare experience, preferably in an ambulatory or outpatient setting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.
• Strong interpersonal and human relations skills to interact positively with staff, providers, and patients.
• Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written English language.
• Basic computer skills and ability to optimize technology in clinical care.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience in a hospital-based setting may substitute for some required experience.
• ACLS/PALS certification may be required in some practice areas.
