Customer Service Rep: Duties: The Customer Service Licensed job is responsible for handling customer and agent inquiries, addressing various types of property and casualty policies and billing inquiries in an efficient, professional and accurate manner. Employees in this position resolve service concerns, document customer requests, and complete changes to policies that require a license. Service to agents and customers will include inbound/outbound communication. - Provide exceptional customer service to clients, answering inquiries and addressing concerns - Market insurance products to potential customers through various channels - Conduct thorough assessments of clients' insurance needs and recommend suitable coverage options 1+ years customer service experience Insurance experience Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Property and casualty license required Functional Skills Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Excellent computer skills, including typing proficiency, multi-tasking between online applications Ability to maintain multiple customer communications at the same time (e.g. multiple chats) Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, folders) Working knowledge of property and casualty policies and related processes and procedures Requirements: - Proven experience in customer service or sales roles - Strong knowledge of insurance products and industry practices - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in using computer systems and software applications - Must possess a valid P&C insurance license • *BILINGUAL Spanish is REQUIRED** ☐Scheduling Start Date: 9/17/2025 Training: 9 to 11 Weeks starting Wednesday, September 17th Schedule: 10AM – 6:30PM EST, Sun/Sat off Nesting: 7 Weeks, broken into two segments, Nesting A and Nesting B Nesting and Production Schedule: Team Backfill needs will be given through our WFM (Workforce Management) team, we use these needs to provide shifts which are used in a new hire shift bid for production schedules. Performance during training will be used to determine the rank if there is a bid for multiple schedules. Examples of what will be used for measurement is engagement and attendance. ☐ Hours Hours of Operations: - Legacy: 7:00AM-2:00AM EST, 7 days a week Shift Examples: - 7AM-3:30PM, Sun/Wed off - 10AM-6:30PM, Thu/Fri off (most common and realistic) - 1PM-9:30PM, Tue/Wed off (most common and realistic) Shift Bids: While in production, typically shift changes happen through a shift bid process which considers performance and employee preferences, these typically happen 1-2 times per year. - Shift changes between shift bid periods sometimes do occur on an as needed basis Our licensed service department is open 7 days a week. We ask that applicants pursuing this position have the flexibility to work a multitude of varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. • * WNS does, at times participate, in shift bids as business needs change.  This means your schedule could change but that you would have the opportunity to bid for the schedules of your choosing. Your performance will play a major part in your ability to get those shifts.   ​​☐​ Attendance We have a strict attendance policy in place during formal education. Expectations are to not miss any time during the formal education period. Formal education includes both the classroom training & nesting (on the job training). This policy is in place to ensure that new employees can receive all information and have ample opportunity to put it into practice prior to production. ​​☐​ Hybrid Virtual Learning Training will be led through a blend of Self-Directed Learning (SDL) and Facilitator Led sessions. SDL is a self-paced program that you move through by yourself with daily check-ins with the class and trainer. You could be learning primarily through reading material 6-7 hours a day throughout the 9 weeks of formal education. This requires you to be self-motivated and diligent in completing your learning modules to remain on pace with the class schedule. It is expected for you to remain at your desk, working through the material during the prescribed times. It is also a requirement for cameras to be on and employees to be ready to actively engage during the Facilitator Led sessions. Overview of Formal Education: Week 1-2 – pre-process training, onboarding, equipment setup, new hire courses. Weeks 3-6 – Process training, self-study course modules, team check ins and discussions about material learned, call practice scenarios. Weeks 7-9 – Taking live calls in groups and solo, group discussions and review. In insurance, there are many one-off scenarios you will come across and it is impossible to train you for each one. Training is designed to give you a good foundation and to teach you how to utilize the resources we offer, such as Right Answers, which is our knowledge center. Compensation Disclosure The base salary range for this position is $20.00 – $22.00 hourly. This range reflects the base pay that we reasonably expect to offer for the role across our hiring locations. Final compensation will be determined based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to: • Geographic location (state and city of residence) • Overall professional experience • Directly relevant experience • Education and certifications • Industry knowledge and expertise • Skills and competencies In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for performance-based bonuses, or incentive pay, or commissions, which are not included in the listed base salary range.
