By providing patients and internal and external stakeholders with a consistent, efficient, and easy experience, you’ll help ensure that patients at The Oregon Clinic Ear, Gastroenterology West Clinic receive the highest value care tailored to their needs./p pstrongUsing excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include:/strong/p ul liBack-office responsibilities include daily schedule review, rooming patients, obtaining vitals, assisting physicians, direct patient flow and room turnover in assigned areas./li liMaintain cleanliness, inventory and preparedness of assigned exam rooms./li liPerform CLIA waive test/li liAssist with telehealth medicine. /li liProvide assistance to patients that need help with ambulation or those dependent on a wheelchair or walker./li liClinical in-basket management, accurately document medical information in patients’ records per clinic standards, scheduling appointments and manage clinical referral orders, process refill requests to the pharmacy as ordered by providers./li liAnswering phones on multi-line system and assisting with phone triage./li liProcessing of incoming referrals and electronic fax submissions. /li liReport off to covering team member when leaving the floor for break, lunch or off duty./li liAbility to problem solves issues in a team environment./li liAssisting with the overall delivery of patient care in the department./li liOther duties as assigned./li /ul pstrongSalary:/strong/p pHiring range, based on experience and credentialsstrong: /strong/p pMedical Assistant (Must be Certified within 90 days): /p ul liLevel I: $21.76-$29.45 per hour./li liLevel II: $22.97-$31.08 per hour. /li /ul pCredentialed Medical Assistant: /p ul liLevel I: $24.18-$32.72 per hour. /li liLevel II: $26.60-$35.99 per hour./li liLevel III: $29.26-$39.59 per hour. /li /ul pstrongWorkdays: This role is located at the Peterkort Centre. A possible option for Hybrid/Remote work will be available following a period of six months after the completion of training and expectations are met. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, four 10-hour shifts with a day off: TBD (7:00 am - 5:30 pm)./strong/p pstrongQualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience and values including:/strong/p ul liMinimum of two years of previous experience as a Medical Assistant is strongly preferred. Specialty Care GI experience is a plus! /li liCertification through a national agency such as AAMA, NCCT, etc. is required./li liMedical Assistants must be certified within 90 days. New GRADS, MA, EMT and CNA's are Welcome to apply! /li liCurrent CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS may be required by specialty./li liPrior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred.
