About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Power BI Analyst with 9+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, and Analytics. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing and delivering advanced dashboards, data models, and actionable insights using Power BI. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze complex datasets, and provide reporting solutions that enable strategic decision-making across financial, operational, and geospatial domains. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs. • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive BI solutions. • Build, optimize, and maintain data models (Star/Snowflake Schema) for efficient reporting. • Write advanced DAX calculations to support KPIs, forecasting, and business metrics. • Develop Paginated Reports (Power BI Report Builder) for enterprise reporting. • Create geospatial and mapping reports using Power BI’s native mapping tools and ArcGIS integration. • Perform SQL-based data analysis and data preparation (T-SQL, PL/SQL, Power Query, Power Pivot). • Support analytics initiatives with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and other external data sources. • Ensure data accuracy, governance, and role-based access control across BI solutions. • Collaborate in Agile teams for project execution, sprint planning, and documentation. • Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to junior analysts and business teams on Power BI best practices. Qualifications: • 9+ years of IT/Analytics experience, with at least 6+ years in BI and Data Visualization. • Strong expertise in Power BI dashboards, DAX, Power Query, Power Pivot. • Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL for querying and data preparation. • Solid understanding of data modeling principles (Star/Snowflake). • Hands-on experience with large datasets, ETL concepts, and performance optimization. • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Preferred Skills: • Experience in Geospatial Data Reporting & Analysis (ArcGIS, spatial datasets). • Advanced analytics / DAX for forecasting and predictive insights. • Familiarity with Azure, Office365, SQL Server, and SharePoint. • Prior utilities industry experience is highly desirable.
