Investment Accountant - Derivatives
                                About the position
Responsibilities
• Manage ongoing activities as part of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles.
• Identify and implement accounting improvements that increase business value and efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement activities to enhance quality and cycle times.
• Collaborate closely with Investment Management to support key projects.
• Make recommendations to improve the overall control environment of the Investment Controllership team.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related major.
• 6+ years of related work experience with a track record of increasing responsibility.
• Financial reporting experience in derivatives, including swaps, options, and futures.
Nice-to-haves
• 8+ years of related work experience.
• CPA, CFA, CMA, or equivalent designations preferred.
• Experience in insurance company investment GAAP and Statutory accounting including Schedule DB.
• Experience with derivative software such as Murex or Calypso and Investment software such as Aladdin.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze financial data sets.
