Job title: Inventory Data Entry Clerk Company: Cheese Merchants of America Job description: Job Summary: The Inventory Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for accurately entering data electronically including inventory counts Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintains database by entering new and updated inventory information. • Resolves deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution. • Enters inventory data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format. • Creates cycle counts • Electronically manages moves, adjustments, transfers including bin transfers • Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures. • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Hours & Classification: The Inventory Data Clerk will generally work Monday to Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with some weekend work possible. This role is classified as non-exempt Requirements • Organizational skills • Accurate typing skills • Attention to detail • Proficiency in Excel, Word, • Proficiency in Sage and powerbi is a plus Education and Experience Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • Data entry experience or related office experience • Warehouse inventory management experience preferred Expected salary: Location: West Chicago, IL Apply for the job now!
