CNC Machinists

Key Responsibilities: • Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other precision machining equipment per engineering blueprints and specifications. • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and CAD models to ensure accurate machining processes. • Perform machine adjustments, tool changes, and offsets to maintain optimal production quality. • Conduct first-article inspections and in-process quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. • Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues to prevent production downtime. • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and quality standards. • Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and quality assurance teams to optimize machining operations. • Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and quality assurance procedures. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining preferred. • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions. • Experience with CNC programming (G-code, M-code) is a plus. • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods. • Familiarity with ERP systems and shop floor documentation processes. • Commitment to safety, precision, and continuous improvement.
