We are seeking an Entry-Level Business Analyst to support healthcare operations, systems, and data initiatives. In this role, you’ll work alongside senior analysts and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze healthcare data, and contribute to improving clinical, operational, and administrative processes. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in gathering and documenting business and functional requirements related to healthcare systems or workflows.
• Support analysis of claims, patient records, scheduling data, or electronic health record (EHR) systems to identify patterns, errors, or opportunities for improvement.
• Create process flowcharts, user stories, and requirements documentation under the guidance of senior team members.
• Participate in meetings with clinical staff, billing teams, or IT to understand pain points and propose solutions.
• Perform basic data analysis using Excel, reports, or healthcare software tools.
• Help test system updates or workflow changes and document results.
• Support the creation of training materials and user guides.
• Ensure solutions meet compliance standards such as HIPAA.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, Public Health, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, especially in working with both clinical and technical teams.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and an interest in learning tools like SQL, Power BI, or EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
• Detail-oriented with a passion for improving patient and provider experiences through data and process enhancements.
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
• Internship or academic experience related to healthcare or business analysis.
• Familiarity with healthcare terms like EHR, claims, CPT/ICD codes, patient intake, or provider workflows.
• Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
