About the Role
As a Ticket/Gate Agent with Delta Airlines, you'll be the face of our company, interacting with customers, and ensuring their travel experience is nothing short of exceptional. Key Responsibilities
- Own the check-in process, boarding process, and seat availability, including making gate announcements and ensuring customers have the perfect travel documentation.
- Assist customers with ticketing and baggage check-in processes using our computer systems.
- Tag and lift baggage from scales to conveyor belts, handling luggage that may weigh up to 70 pounds.
- Operate loading bridges and open, close, and secure aircraft doors.
- Escort unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport, providing personalized care and attention.
- Work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and overnights, based on operational needs.

Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- To be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States.
- Proficiency in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Primary digital literacy and the ability to learn our technology systems.
- The ability to pass a physical ability test (PAT) and a Customer Service Assessment.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, having previous customer service experience, particularly in the aviation industry, is highly desirable. Additionally, being bilingual or multilingual can be a significant asset in this role.
