Recruiting and Staffing Lead
Description:
• Lead end-to-end recruitment for online and in-person contract tutoring roles across the country
• Build and manage pipelines of qualified tutor candidates, adapting quickly to evolving program needs
• Manage and maintain the Braintrust Tutors platform to ensure all tutoring engagements are accurately and promptly posted
• Oversee the end-to-end matching process between tutors and available engagements, prioritizing both program needs and tutor strengths
• Regularly monitor platform activity and engagement status, proactively identifying and resolving any gaps in tutor assignments
• Leverage technology and AI into daily workflows
• Work between different systems seamlessly (ATS, CRM, Platform, SparkHire, Notion)
• Communicate directly with tutors regarding new opportunities, confirmations, and changes to their assignments
• Partner with internal teams to forecast staffing requirements and meet tight deadlines for tutor placement
• Coordinate and track all pre-onboarding requirements, including fingerprinting, background checks, and district-specific documentation
• Match tutors to engagements and serve as point of contact during pre-engagement
• Monitor applicant progress through hiring and onboarding pipelines using tracking tools and systems
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve any barriers to tutor onboarding to ensure timely engagement launches
• Support diversity, equity, and inclusion goals in recruitment practices
• Maintain accurate records of compliance documentation and respond to district and internal audit requests as needed
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition, ideally in education, EdTech, or contract-based workforces
• Staffing experience is highly preferred
• Demonstrated experience managing high-volume hiring and onboarding processes
• Familiarity with education hiring compliance (e.g., fingerprinting, background checks, district paperwork) is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Daily use of AI into recruiting processes
• A proactive and flexible mindset, with a willingness to work nontraditional hours as needed
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work autonmously with minimial oversight/supervision
• Expert in using applicant tracking tools, spreadsheets, and digital workflows to monitor hiring pipelines. Must be tech-savvy - this is a tech heavy role.
