As a key member of our remote team, you will play a vital role in shaping the customer experience and setting the bar for quality care. **About blithequark's Digital Operations Chat Team** blithequark's Digital Operations Chat team is a growth space within the US Commercial-Medical org, dedicated to customer experience and setting the bar for quality care. Our team of tenured, people-focused experts are universally trained in most US Commercial-Medical products, including Medical (Proclaim, Facets, PMHS), Dental (DPPO and DHMO), Pharmacy (OneRx), and iCSA (website support/navigation/password resets). We are committed to creating a culture that prioritizes people – the people we work with and the customers we support every day. **Primary Responsibilities** As a Senior Representative, you will be responsible for: * Helping customers and healthcare providers understand our business better, addressing topics such as prior authorization status, claims issues, and benefit coverage related to medical and dental procedures. * Providing seamless customer support for multiple lines of business, delivering robust support with various and sometimes complex inquiries in one-stop, reducing transfers and wait times. * Taking ownership of inquiries and issues, resolving them the first time, every time, and advocating for customers' health and wellness. * Educating customers on disease management programs and making recommendations on healthy living programs tailored to their needs. **Key Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will need: * A minimum of 1-2 years of Call Center experience, with a strong preference for those with technical knowledge in Medical terminology. * Excellent customer service skills, including active listening, human connection/empathy, researching, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. * Demonstrated oral, written, interpersonal communication, and negotiation skills. * Prior experience with time management, excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, highly motivated, and customer-centric. **Technical Requirements** If you will be working from home occasionally or permanently, you must have a reliable internet connection obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. **Compensation and Benefits** We offer a competitive hourly rate of $17-$25, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location. This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
