Pharmacy Tech Liaison - Specialty - Remote - FT Days
                                About the position
Responsibilities
• Prepares, packages, compounds, and labels non-sterile drug products for specific patients with appropriate final pharmacist checks.
• Assists pharmacists in advanced tasks associated with patient care.
• Works seamlessly alongside hospital clinicians to serve patients both face-to-face and over the phone.
• Handles all medication needs of patients, ensuring adherence to medication regimens and securing refill prescriptions.
• Communicates effectively with the centralized Patient Service Center.
• Helps develop new processes to ensure smooth operations and patient care.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
• Ability to adapt to and deal with change and ambiguity.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to solve problems and identify solutions.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements related to pharmacy practice.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, and pharmacokinetics.
Nice-to-haves
• Knowledge of Hepatitis C, infectious disease, and/or oncology.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
