Experienced Manager, Advanced Analytics – Driving Business Growth through Data-Driven Insights

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Advanced Analytics to join our team and help us achieve our mission.

About the Role

The Manager, Advanced Analytics will play a critical role in driving business growth through data-driven insights. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Business Strategy, to develop and implement analytics solutions that inform business decisions. Your expertise in advanced analytics will help us identify opportunities to improve customer experiences, drive revenue growth, and optimize business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Analytics Management, Product Managers, Business Strategy, Design, and Engineering teams to accurately track and analyze existing and new product initiatives.
  • Leverage clickstream data to identify opportunities for improving customer experience and influence product roadmaps. Perform conversion analysis, funnel analysis, impact sizing to influence decision-making.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure product performance and monitoring product health.
  • Define the customer engagement data capture strategy and collaborate with engineering to ensure the accuracy of the data captured.
  • Create effective reporting and dashboards by applying expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Splunk to monitor product performance.
  • Leverage extensive hands-on experience with SQL to query and process large amounts of clickstream and transactions data from different databases such as BigQuery or Hive to identify opportunities.
  • Use statistical power analysis and hypothesis testing to shape and drive the analytics strategy for the Product Management team.
  • Design and execute A/B tests to identify and quantify the impact of new product features as an ongoing discipline to constantly improve product features and provide better experiences for customers across all platforms (e.g., Desktop, Mobile, App).
  • Provide data-driven insights and deliver recommendations that address opportunities for product improvements.
  • Leverage advanced analytics solutions to identify product and business opportunities at scale using regression, clustering, classification, gradient boosting, etc. techniques.

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need to bring the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Information Technology or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in analytics, with a strong background in data analysis and interpretation.
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL, with a strong understanding of data modeling and database design.
  • 2+ years of experience with a data visualization tool, such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred but not required:

  • 3+ years of experience working in mid-to-large scale analytics teams.
  • Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Information Technology or related field.
  • Interest in growing into an analytics management role in the future.
  • Related industry experience, such as retail, merchandising, eCommerce, etc.
  • Experience using Python or R for analytics and data management.
  • Experience creating and automating data pipelines.

Salary Range

The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00-$186,000.00, depending on experience and qualifications.

Additional Compensation

In addition to your salary, you may be eligible for annual or quarterly performance bonuses, as well as stock awards.

Location

This role is based in Hoboken, NJ, with opportunities to work remotely.
