Job Summary:

We are in search of an energetic Coding Educator working in a remote role that will be responsible for ensuring inpatient coding accuracy based on education and training of staff and focus on maintaining a quality patient clinical database.

Job Functions:
?? Coding Education & Training- Hospital Inpatient
?? Staff Development
?? New Coder Orientation
?? Coding Inquiry Management
?? Subject Matter Expert
?? Issue Resolution
?? Coding Technologies
?? Documentation Standardization
?? Process Improvement
?? Reviews E&M levels selected by physicians on a monthly basis and provides feedback in order to increase awareness and accuracy.

Requirements: ?? CCS, RHIT or RHIA ?? 5 years inpatient coding experience ?? 3 years inpatient coding trainer, educator, auditor or manager experience ?? Associates/Bachelors degree preferred but not required
