Maintenance Supervisor

Title: Maintenance Supervisor Location: Brownwood, TX Salary: $80-$85,000/Year Plus Benefits and Relocation for the right candidate. Requirements: Must have at least 5+ years experience in a Manufacturing plant working on high-speed machinery. Food manufacturing is a big plus for this role as well as PLC knowledge.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for performing mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and regular preventative maintenance tasks. This includes conducting electrical work as assigned and ensuring prompt resolution of equipment issues. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, and electrical wiring, and the ability to work efficiently within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The Maintenance Technician must adhere to Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and company safety policies.

What You Will Be Doing
?Perform mechanical repairs, including changing bearings, seals, and shafts, as well as replacing hardware, reading wire diagrams, and wiring motors.
?Utilize the facility CMMS system to effectively manage and document maintenance activities, providing recommendations for successful operation.
?Analyze machine error messages and gather information from operators to diagnose equipment issues accurately.
?Comply with SOPs, GMP, and company safety policies, reporting accidents, property damage, or near misses to a supervisor.
?Maintain a clean work environment following the completion of each task.
?Respond to maintenance requests submitted via the reporting app or communicated by the production team, promptly documenting repairs and maintenance within the maintenance records.
?Perform routine maintenance on machines and parts, such as inspecting drivers, motors, belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and conducting other preventative maintenance actions.
?Report and document issues that require escalation, ensuring timely resolution.
?Prioritize maintenance requests based on their impact on the production schedule.
?Assist in managing parts inventory for the facility, ensuring availability of necessary components.
?Provide support to the production line and general operation teams on various projects, as needed.
?Research and troubleshoot maintenance issues using repair manuals, equipment schematics, and other available resources to diagnose machine malfunctions.
?Perform any other duties.

What You Need for this Position
?High school diploma or equivalent.
?Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
?Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
?Familiarity with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is preferred.
?Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
?Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
?Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
?Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
?Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
?Sensor and PLC Troubleshooting
?Knowledge of VFD Controls
?Experience troubleshooting electric motors
?Experience with Stick Welding
