About the Role: The company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Appraisals, Claim Management, or Transactions Engineering Teams. The interview process will involve a team matching. Responsibilities:Enhance tools to automate workflows and boost productivity.Build out the platform and own feature development.Contribute to technical design processes and provide feedback.Play a key role in growing the company to be a technology leader.Work in an agile environment, participating in stand-ups and retrospectives.Proactively challenge scopes, flag issues, and suggest alternatives.Collaborate with engineers, product management, and design to solve complex problems. Qualifications:5+ years of backend-focused web development experience with React.js. Experience designing and building APIs.Proficiency in designing schemas and writing performant queries for relational databases.Understanding of scalability challenges and server-side code performance.Prior experience with Ruby on Rails preferred, or other OO programming languages such as Python, C#, Java.Eagerness to learn and work with a collaborative team.Commitment to quality and passion for technology.Ability to manage tasks and contribute to multiple initiatives during a sprint.
