Location: Montrose, Colorado

Time: Monday through Friday (no overtime unless authorized)
? Update the real-time power system network database to reflect the changes in the power system under GEXA/21 Transmission Security Management (TSM) platform.
? Utilize AutoCAD to create & Update SCADA display screens, one-one, overviews, line to line displays to reflect the changes in the power system-maintain standards and procedures for the database and displays.
? Update database for changes to the NSP model for accurate line connectivity and flow
? Test and document system changes in an off-line, development environment.
? Work with field technicians for point to point checkout on on-line operating environment and trouble shoot communications issues between SCADA and the field RTU's (Remote Terminal Units).
? Interface with Dispatch personnel and support team and provide support and trouble shoot issues with SCADA.
? Analyze and determine the correct system operating changes related to the transmission , distribution, and generation electrical system using data collected from engineering projects and available company diagrams.
? Coordinate & schedule work with Control System Operators, Energy Markets, field personnel, technicians, neighboring utilities, and other Database Specialists.
? Review peer database changes for implementation.

Additional Responsibilities,

Seeking someone who has excellent written and oral skills. The person who we hire will have a lot of time to shadow a co-worker and learn the Client Drafting software.
