Job Summary

The Retail Trainer is responsible for educating new and existing employees on how to effectively perform their jobs. This individual will provide new hire training to Universal Bankers, Assistant Banking Center Managers, and Banking Center Managers. They will assist the Retail Training and Development Leader in developing and presenting additional training to all Retail employees. Retail Trainers, when not training, will work on projects, as assigned, and schedule periodic visits to the banking center to observe that operational procedures are being properly followed.

Duties And Responsibilities

Training Courses
? Provides consistent training to all new Retail hires on the bank's platforms, products, services, and culture through either in-class and virtual training sessions.
? Engages with team members and serve as a liaison to Retail Training and Development Leader to identify and assess training/developmental needs.
? Creates a positive and encouraging work environment.
? Provides feedback on training to Retail Training and Development Leader.
? Assists with developing and updating training materials, such as participant guides, handouts, FAQs, job aides, etc.
? Manages projects as assigned by the Retail Training and Development Leader

Training Communications
? Creates and communicates the training schedule to Retail Leaders and Human Resources
? Reserves conference rooms to deliver functional and virtual training sessions
? Offers monthly and quarterly training sessions to meet the needs of Retail staff

Training Material
? Assists with creating and updating training materials and Teams recordings
? Reviews and provides feedback on training materials
? Creates recordings using Teams

New Hire Onboarding
? Partners with Human Resources and Retail Training Leader to schedule new hire start dates
? Works with IT to assist with issuing log in information
? Ensures that new hire training material and presentations are maintained and up to date
? Tracks onboarding progress and document activities

Additional Support
? Schedules time to support banking centers on specific procedures for improvement
? Attends weekly operational calls when time allows
? Assists Retail Training Leaders with retail and corporate projects
? Ability to assist/travel in IL and IN when needed

Qualifications
? Minimum two years banking and/or training experience
? Proficient understanding of front-line teller systems, new account platforms and CRM/sales management systems
? Ability to learn new applications, products/services, and policies/procedures quickly and effectively deliver information to others
? Demonstrates passion for people development and customer service excellence
? Demonstrates ability to deliver fun, engaging, and meaningful content that covers all learning styles and maximizes retention
? Ability to converse and exchange information with all levels of staff within the Bank
? Highly organized, and must be versatile and flexible based on needs of trainees
? Excellent oral and written communication
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
