About the Team
The Workday Adaptive Planning Quality team is seeking an innovative individual who will bring their passion and enthusiasm for quality and technology to help shape the future of Financial Planning.
About the Role
As a Software Development Engineer in Test for our planning quality team, you will be involved in all aspects of quality assurance activities for an enterprising scrum team. Working closely with other Quality Engineers, SDETs, Developers and Product Managers, you will use and grow your knowledge and creativity to design effective test solutions (manual and automated) to ensure a high-quality product for our customers.
Responsibilities: ? Develop, automate, and maintain highly effective test cases in a CI/CD environment during each sprint of the Agile life cycle ? Continuously curate and enhance test case repository, automated tests, framework, and tool sets to meet our standards ? Analyze, troubleshoot, and triage product and automation issues ? Document, investigate and communicate defects discovered during test execution ? Participate in all Scrum ceremonies, representing QA to provide estimates, test status and risk assessment ? Work closely with scrum team to understand features, articulate problems, and influence the quality and design of our products ? Contribute to process improvements and refinement of QA practices to deliver high quality product from release to release
About You
You're drawn to testing software because you like to experiment and learn how things work (and shouldn't work). You especially like it when you get to break software with a multitude of tools. Basic Qualifications
? 5+ years working in Software Testing and developing automated tests
? Object oriented programming in Java or other languages
? Experience developing and completing test cases for software applications
? Bachelor?s degree in computer science or related field
Other Qualifications
? Web services testing experience
? Experience working in Agile software development life cycle
? Proven track record to balance multiple priorities and communicate across the organization
? Relational and Multi-Dimensional Database concepts
? Containerization and (Docker, Kubernetes)
? Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment using Jenkins

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate?s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
