Job Summary
The Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Stephenville is seeking a highly motivated full-time postdoctoral research associate with an interest in environmental microbiology, environmental processes, advanced or renewable materials for environmental applications, waste-derived biofuels and bioproducts, and greenhouse gas control.
Responsibilities: ? Environmental microbiology for microbial community analysis, antibiotic-resistant genes and pathogens in water, soil, plants, and sludge. ? Environmental processes, including adsorption, advanced oxidation/reduction, and biological treatment. ? Advanced or renewable materials, including biochar and other carbon materials, for water purification and environmental remediation. ? Production of biofuels, biochemicals, and bioproducts from various waste. ? Greenhouse gas control in soil, water, and contaminated sites.
