About the position

The Seasonal Starbucks Associate at Follett is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, primarily within a Starbucks setting on a college campus. This role involves preparing quality beverages and food products, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to health and safety guidelines. The position is temporary, typically lasting from a few days to a few weeks, depending on store needs.

Responsibilities
? Prepare quality beverages, whole beans, and food products consistently, adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.

? Anticipate customer and store needs by evaluating the environment and customers for cues.

? Communicate relevant information to the manager to maintain a quality customer environment during each shift.

? Follow operational policies and procedures to ensure safety and security during each shift.

? Stock products and maintain organized shelves/stock.

Requirements
? Previous barista or food service experience preferred.

? Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment.

? Ability to safely operate coffee equipment and perform accurate transactions.

? Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting responsibilities.

? Strong customer service skills, including effective communication.

? Computer literacy is desired.
