About the position As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will lead store operations during your shifts, ensuring a high-quality customer service experience while working alongside a team of baristas. This role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and the ability to create a positive environment for both customers and partners. You will be responsible for maintaining operational standards, guiding team members, and fostering a culture of connection and belonging within the store. Responsibilities • Lead each shift and manage store operations standards. , • Deliver quality customer service and expertly-crafted products. , • Motivate and guide team members to create an uplifting experience. , • Maintain an encouraging team environment and grow leadership skills. , • Handle cash and ensure store safety and security. , • Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes. Requirements • Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment - 1 year. , • Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interaction with customers. , • At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees. , • Ability to direct the work of others and learn quickly. , • Effective oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Nice-to-haves • Experience with cash-handling and store safety. , • Ability to keep calm in a fast-paced environment. , • Knowledge of the retail environment.
