Participates in, and may develop and/or implement company-wide HR programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, workforce planning, and organizational change). Works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development. Consults with employees and managers to address human resources issues. Assists in the alignment of human resources with strategic business objectives. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influence, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, strategic and tactical analysis and problem solving. RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES- Lead development and/or implementation of the client HR roadmap and initiatives, on-time and on-budget;- Contribute to development and/or implement the IT HR Strategic Roadmap plans, on-time and on-budget- Coach management and non-management employees with tactical and long-term perspectives to grow leadership, managerial, and team capabilities.- Complete exemplary investigations with urgency, and complete documentation- Identify and coordinate timely training solutions and services to enable and foster cultural change- Advise and guide clients regarding short-, intermediate- and long-term organizational and individual staff decisions covering employee relations, retention, compensation, staffing, terminations, organizational design, development planning, organizational changes, and other business needs- Interpret and uphold HR policies and practices; advocate changes where appropriate- Lead, plan, and/or contribute to complex team objectives to support clients, IT, and/or broader groups within KP- Facilitate and/or arrange for facilitation of group problem-solving and/or development sessions on issues of human capital, as appropriate- Strengthen client usage of performance management and performance development practices for greatest effectiveness Basic Qualifications:- 2-4 years of HR generalist experience required-Four (4) year degree in human resources or a related field or equivalent experience.- Demonstrated expertise and effectiveness in at least 5 of the following areas of expertise: change leadership, organizational design, leadership development, talent and team development, compensation management, legal and regulatory requirements, investigations, employee and labor relations- Excellent team building, conflict resolution, group interaction, and interpersonal skills.- Excellent communication, presentation, and consulting skills.- Demonstrated ability to lead professionals and manage others through influence and collaboration.- Thorough knowledge of human resources policies, practices and systems.- Regularly contributes to the development of new human resources/ employee relations concepts, techniques, and standards.- Frequently contributes to the development of new department human resources and employee relations methods.- Employs expertise as a generalist or specialist. Preferred Qualifications:- Graduate coursework may be preferred.- Considered expert in field.- SPHR strongly preferred.
