Overview: Major, Lindsey & Africa is seeking two Interim Paralegals to assist a Financial Institution
Company: An International Financial Institution
Experience: At least 5 Years of experience as a Paralegal at a law firm or in-house corporation with a focus in Financial Services.
Location: NYC Hybrid Ideal (open to remote)
Responsibilities Include:
? Support the bank?s derivatives business within the Legal Department for the Trade Transaction Management (?TTM?) group.
? Manage the end-to-end process of negotiating and executing collateral assignment agreements.
Role Objectives:
? Documentation Support:
? Review, negotiate, and process collateral assignment agreements.
? Improve documentation procedures as needed.
? Administrative Support:
? Manage correspondence between clients, front office, advisors, brokers, and external counsel.
? Track progress and manage the flow of new agreements.
? Ensure complete documentation at execution.
Qualifications and Skills:
? Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience in law firms or financial services.
? Ability to manage high-volume transactions with competing deadlines.
? Familiarity with collateral assignment agreements and derivative transactions is a plus.
? Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
? Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage a significant workload.
? Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
