We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Documentation Specialist to assist a senior US lawyer in drafting and reviewing legal documents. This role is ideal for someone with a strong legal background, excellent research skills, and experience in US legal drafting and compliance. You will work remotely and collaborate closely with the senior attorney to produce high-quality legal documentation.
Key Responsibilities: ? Draft, edit, and review legal documents, contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence. ? Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with US laws and regulations. ? Assist in case preparation, document organization, and citation formatting. ? Maintain legal templates and contract repositories for efficiency. ? Collaborate with the senior lawyer to ensure accuracy and adherence to legal best practices. ? Stay updated on legal precedents, regulatory changes, and industry-specific compliance.
Required Qualifications: ? Law degree (LL.B. or J.D.) from an accredited institution ? Experience in US legal drafting (10+ years preferred) ? Strong knowledge of legal terminology, contract law, and compliance standards ? Familiarity with US contract law, corporate law, or litigation support ? Excellent legal research and writing skills (Westlaw, LexisNexis preferred) ? Ability to work independently in a remote setting ? Proficiency in MS Word and legal document formatting tools
Preferred Qualifications: ? Bar membership (US or international) is a plus but not required ? Experience working with law firms or corporate legal teams ? Familiarity with legal tech tools and document automation
