We specialize in solutions for patient population analysis, site feasibility and selection, participant identification, and real-time trial matching for site networks and healthcare systems.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and high-achieving Research Nurse Specialist to support our customer success, data science, and product development teams. You will play a key clinical role in translating research protocols into actionable logic, ensuring our platform accurately matches patients to trials. This position requires a strong clinical background, a love for problem-solving, and a desire to work at the intersection of healthcare and technology.
As a subject matter expert in clinical workflows, trial design, and medical ontologies, you will serve as a primary clinical liaison between BEKhealth and our customers—including CROs, SMOs, site networks, and healthcare organizations. This role reports to the Manager, Product and Clinical Operations.
Responsibilities
Translate clinical trial eligibility criteria into use within the BEKhealth platform
- Validate patient chart matches across client EMRs and BEKhealth’s AI engine Annotate and curate clinical data for training and validating machine learning and NLP algorithms Act as a clinical liaison and subject matter expert for BEKhealth clients Ensure clients are using the BEKhealth platform effectively and understand how to get the most value Monitor and report on platform performance, and contribute to external communications when needed Recommend and implement improvements across internal processes and customer-facing workflows Collaborate with engineering and product teams by sharing user feedback and ideas for enhancements Ensure all clinical work complies with data privacy and internal QA standards
- Lead or contribute to special projects as needed
Requirements
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with at least 2 years of clinical experience
- Strong experience working with EMRs Clinical research or trial coordination experience Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and clinical teams Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in identifying problems and solutions
- Willingness to travel occasionally (based on project or client needs)
Preferred (but not required):
Experience with real-world data, healthcare technology, or data extraction/migration
- Experience with SQL or other database tools
- Exposure to or interest in machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), or medical ontologies
