Certified Teacher: Small Group Intervention (K-12) - Part-Time Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Certified Teacher to deliver small group intervention instruction to K-12 students in West Florida. As a part-time Intervention Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students who require additional support in Reading and Math. Our ideal candidate is a certified teacher with a strong background in teaching and a desire to work with students who need extra attention to succeed.
About the Role:
- Part-time schedules available during regular school hours (10-25 hours per week)
- In-person instruction at participating schools in Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco Counties
- Small group intervention (Tier 2) in both Reading and Math, with a focus on helping students address identified skill deficits and reach on-level academic success
- Opportunity to work with grade bands of K-12 students, including those with ESE experience

Responsibilities:
- Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels, using a prescribed curriculum and the gradual release model of instruction
- Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students
- Utilize company-provided curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans
- Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations
- Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines, including student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, and parent and classroom teacher communication forms
- Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences, as well as maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education or a related field
- Current FL Teaching Certificate/Statement of Eligibility
- Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience, with a focus on teaching both Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Zoom/Teams preferred
