RN Transitional Care Unit (Night Shift) $10,000 Bonus
About the position
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for patients.
• Maintain nursing standards of care and respond to changing workloads and patient conditions.
• Transcribe and implement provider orders accurately and efficiently.
• Exhibit thorough practice of infection control procedures.
• Identify and report changes in patients' physical and mental conditions.
• Document all patient encounters according to organizational standards.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding health and medical needs.
• Assess and anticipate patient needs, coordinating necessary interventions.
Requirements
• Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a similar position within a medical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology, and principles of nursing practice.
• Healthcare Provider CPR and/or BLS certification required.
• Understanding of confidentiality laws, including HIPAA guidelines.
• Knowledge of medical office equipment and clinical laboratory methods.
• Excellent organizational skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience in assigned area(s) preferred.
• Additional certifications may be required as applicable.
