Clinical / Biomedical Imaging Engineering Manager

Responsibilities: ? Oversee and manage a team of Biomedical Imaging Engineers, ensuring efficient daily service and repair of designated Imaging equipment across multiple modalities. ? Develop and implement strategic plans for equipment maintenance, upgrades, and replacements. ? Collaborate with hospital administration, department heads, and vendors to ensure optimal equipment performance and clinical availability. ? Manage budget for the department, including equipment purchases, maintenance costs, and staffing. ? Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and safety protocols. ? Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance department efficiency and service quality. ? Develop and implement training programs for staff on new technologies and procedures. ? Analyze department performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement. ? Serve as a liaison between the engineering team, clinical staff, and hospital administration. ? Stay current with emerging technologies in medical imaging and evaluate their potential implementation. ? Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service contracts. ? Oversee the maintenance of accurate equipment records and documentation. ? Conduct regular performance reviews and support professional development of team members. ? Participate in hospital-wide committees related to medical technology and patient care improvement. Qualifications: ? Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field ? Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) ? 5-7 years of experience in biomedical imaging, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role ? Strong technical background in multiple Medical Imaging disciplines ? Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
