Essential Functions:
? Develop and execute the agency?s annual development and marketing strategy and plan.
? Execute all fundraising activities including annual appeals, donor cultivation, solicitation of major gifts, identifying prospective donors, writing grant proposals, and coordinating special events.
? Manage the donor database and oversee the data entry process.
? Prepare and track proposals and reports for all foundation and corporate fundraising.
? Oversee the development and implementation of the agency?s message and content for public relations, media releases, web and social media, key grant applications, reports, and key community messages to include the management of the agency?s website design, content, maintenance, and updates.
? Oversee the recruitment, training, supervision of, and provide high quality support to, personnel involved in the operation of assigned activities which includes being a hands-on and participative manager who can lead and develop an internal team to support the initiatives of the agency.
? Other job duties as assigned.
Requirements: ? Five years of demonstrated and directly related experience with nonprofit fundraising/fund development. ? Comfort with meeting donors and stakeholders in a variety of settings. ? Experience with initiating fundraising efforts from conception to implementation. ? Ability to successfully pass Act 33/34 and FBI clearances. ? Valid driver's license and car insurance, with an acceptable motor vehicle report.
Salary:
? This is an Exempt position based on a 35-hour work week. The minimum starting salary is $66,000 annually.
